info and TERM

Hi,
I compiled texinfo recently and I have info.exe but it doesn't want
to start as
info.exe:Terminal type ''dumb'' is not smart enough to run info.

I tried several TERMCAP entries in place of dumb with the same result.
Any Idea ?
