gcc internal compiler error sig11

hi,


version info 

C:\home\maali\dist\dist-basics\mbasic>gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.2-6/specs
gcc version 2.95.2-6 19991024 (cygwin experimental)

if i run

$ gcc -fsyntax-only basic.c


then i get

and i get this exact error every time (i don't think its 
a hardware issue).

the basic.c file is attached.
