I am trying to run postgres under cygwin and I just downloaded cygwin
v.1.3.11-3 this morning.
I am getting the following message when trying to run a initdb:

I have no name!@OENSELING03D ~
$ initdb
The program
    '/usr/bin/postgres'
needed by initdb does not belong to PostgreSQL version 7.2.1, or
there may be a configuration problem.

This was the error message issued by that program:
/usr/bin/postgres: invalid current euid 500

I have no name!@OENSELING03D ~
$

Does anyone kow wht's going on?

Thanks,
